Commitments of the Tourist Office of Mamers and Saosnois

 

In accordance with the Decree of 12 November 2010 which determines the criteria for classifying Tourist Offices as defined by the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, the Tourist Office for Mamers and Saösnois is classified category III and thereby undertakes to provide all necessary means to maintain and ensure a network of professionals, and to collect and distribute appropriate visitor information.

 

Its fundamental missions are to welcome, inform and promote.

The Tourist Office of Mamers and Saösnois (OTMS) is committed to:

  • Provide you with an easily accessible reception and information point
  • Help you in the objectives of your visit
  • Provide a seating area for you
  • Provide you with tourist information free of charge
  • Display and advertise its opening times in at least one foreign language
  • Open at least 120 days per year, including Saturdays and Sundays during the tourist season and for special events
  • Answer your postal mail enquiries all year round
  • Provide a permanent reception facility, staffed by personnel capable in at least one foreign language
  • Ensure the provision of tourist maps, plans and guides in printed form
  • Provide a bilingual website
  • Provide printed tourist information in at least one foreign language, to include:
    • tourist accommodation with at least the name of the accommodation, postal address , email, website address , telephone number , classification
    • monuments and cultural attractions, both natural and recreational, including any tariffs, opening dates and times, website, telephone number and postal address
    • special events and activities
    • emergency telephone numbers
  • Update tourist information annually
  • Display emergency telephone numbers outside
  • Deal with complaints and measure customer satisfaction
  • Access to an adviser for your stay
  • Ensure the information on local tourism is correct and relevant
  • Update information on the tourist offer within the geographical area for which it is responsible
