Green circuit "Acacia" - Vezot

This 17km walk takes in Vezot, Panon, St. Longis, St Rémy-des-Monts, Commerveil, Pizieux and Saosnes. Discover the church of Vezot and its murals, the church at Panon, the Valley of Rutin, the Grand Moulin, and much more.


Red circuit "Hemp" - Saint Rémy du Val

On this 11km walk you’ll discover many and varied facets of Saint Rémy-du-Val including its church, castle ruins and hemp oven. Extend your exploration by visiting the Rural History Exhibition near the village center.




Yellow circuit "Laburnum" - Contilly

This 10 km walk will take you through the towns of Contilly and Montgaudry. From the Mayor’s office in Contilly, this hike lasts about 2.5 hours and you can take in the church of Contilly, a Merovingian sarcophagus, the panoramic view from Butte de la Nue or the Feudal Justice Hall.



Pink circuit "Alders" - Mamers

This gentle 10 km walk is suitable for family members of all ages. You can discover the Saösnois countryside, woods and fields. Bonus: at Suré you can visit the Workshop of Petit Genetin with his creations of costume jewellery and paintings on ceramic (reservation 02 43 33 98 85).



Yellow circuit "Anémone" - Mamers

This walk of 12 km starts at the lakeside in Mamers and goes through part of the valley where protected species of anemones and orchids bloom in spring.



Green circuit "Beech" - Neufchâtel en Saosnois

This 7km walk will give you a taste of the Forest Perseigne. Make sure to ask for the keys to the “Musée du Sabot” in Neufchâtel, where you can see the tools and creations of the clogmakers and other woodland craftsmen who once thrived in this town.


Randonnée pédestre

Pink circuit "Maple" - Saint Cosme en Vairais 

This 18 km walk will reveal a panorama of the Saosnois Orne valley and let you discover a town steeped in history. Along the way discover the washhouses, hemp ovens, Mont Jallu, an ancient wooden porch at Ballet, the Church of Champaissant.



Blue circuit "Ash" - Saint Longis

On this 14 km walk you can admire the flora and fauna and pass through historic villages, including Saint Longis, Marollette and Villaines-la-Carelle. You can also take in part of the Green Way, located on the other side of the D311.

Hiking in the Forest Perseigne

Three hiking circuits are marked in the Forest Perseigne :


* From the parking of the Belvédère de Perseigne (Villaines-la-Carelle), "La Promenade de Persiegne" - 1h - 4,2 km - Easy - Yellow marking

Circuit which can be made in family, without any trouble, to discover the forest, its flora, and attractive points of view...

* From Saint Rigomer-des-Bois (Village hall's parking) - 2h30 - 8,7 km - Easy - Yellow marking

"Between border and undergrowth, this route offer a discovery of the western extreme of the massif of Perseigne. In this diversity of foresters ways, you will also discover a vast panorama on Alençon, its plain and the nearby heights."


* From the parking of the Belvédère de Perseigne (Villaines-la-Carelle) - 4h - 13,5 km - Middle level - Yellow marking (The beginning of the circuit is the same as La Promenade de Perseigne of 4,2 km)

" At the heart of the massif, on the least abrupt hillside of the forest, this route proposes a hike around the Valley of Hell, which nevertheless distinguishes itself by its length and its blocked character."
